15 Months

All Carter cared about was holding a ball.  So of course there is one in every picture.  But at least he isn't screaming!  

Friends

Yesterday was just on of those days that sucked.  Carter was up until 3 am with a fever, then Aunt Flow came to visit which means cramping and headaches, the house was a disaster, and things were not so peachy between they hubby and I.  So I had just given up on the day and getting anything done.  I just wanted to sit on the couch and veg.  But that is not how my day ended thanks to visits from my best friends, a diet coke, a phone call, kidnapping Carter for the night, some Coldstone, and just a little time to chill.  I don't know what I would do without my friends.  (I am sorry if you want to gag right now.) Thanks so much, any girl would be lucky to have friends like you.  Love you!

Crazy Kid

Carter loves to sit on things.  Everytime I open the fridge he comes over and sits down in it.  He doesn't care that it's cold.  He is a crazy kid!

Bevin's Work Party

A few weekends ago we went to Bevin's work party.  It was a bit chilly but we had a good time and enjoyed spending time with our good friends!  We had dinner, went on a wagon ride, got our picture taken in western clothes, and the kids played in the bouncy house and decorated hats.  It was fun to meet all the people that Bevin works with.

These are a few of the before pictures from our house.  We have been working nonstop since the middle of August to get things ready.  We are finally moved in and getting settled.  Still so many projects to do.  We are so grateful to have such awesome family and friends that have been helping us demo, clean, paint, move, entertain Carter, and any other thing we've needed.  Thanks!

Home Sweet Home!

Yea! We have a house! We offically closed on Thursday, and took possession this morning. We went to the house to check it out and then before I knew it Bevin and his dad had ripped all of the carpet out. So we are off to a good start. I will be there early tomorrow morning to start cleaning, preping and painting. There is so much we want to do. We hope to be in by Labor Day, and are so excited to finally have our own place to call home! (pictures to come later)

Olympics!

Since I haven't done a post recently I thought I could do a quick one about the Olympics! I am OBSESSED! I have been watching ever since the Opening Ceremonies! I told Bevin that I probably won't have a very productive week cause I love watching the events. My favorite is swimming, and Michael Phelps!(Who, bytheway, just won his second gold, yea!) I get so nervous for them because it is always so close. But, I love watching all the events and hope the US continues to have great success!

Carter's first word was ball and he loves them.  He even thinks a watermelon is a ball.  He loves throwing the ball to the dogs, to mom and dad, in the pool, and loves hitting them with his golf clubs.(pics of those to come later)

Take a Hike!

Just a quick hike that we did up Dry Canyon.  It was Carter's first time in his new backback carrier and he loved it.  I don't know if Bevin did, but it was a great day and a fun little family outing. (Even Cooper got to come)

I Tried!

So I was feeling bad that I haven't posted for almost 2 months.  I have just been so obsessed with finding a house.  But since that isn't going to well I thought I would post something.  So I downloaded all my pictures and only got 2 up and then it said there was an error and it wouldn't work.  So now I am frustrated and will just have to try again another day.  But just so you know, we are alive and things are good.
